Poorly People
Everybody seems to be poorly. The Boy is off, his mum is ill and I feel a little grim. It doesn't help having the lamest heating system in the Western World.
I quit my job in the shop today. My boss was fine and very supportive about it, but HR were really pissy. They said that I had to work a weeks notice (which is fair really) but they couldn't show me that in my signed contract and so had to let me go today. I spent a fortune in store to use up my remaining discount. My cupboards and freezers are fit to burst, but I really don't need to shop for a very long time now!
