Twelve

Twelve packets of frozen turkey in the freezer (quick recount), and I have to eat fresh turkey on Christmas and Boxing Day.

Eleven open packets of pasta. I can see a lot of pasta and turkey dishes in the coming months.

Ten pence in my purse.

Nine lonely socks who have lost their mates. Bad time of year to be alone.

Eight days (nearly) until 2004.

Seven chipped nails to sort out.

Six presents still to wrap.

Five gold rings. A girl can wish. One would be nice!

Four cheesecakes in my fridge. Admittedly three belong to my sister, and the last is mine, but should be gone soon. Yum yum.

Three fighting cats.

Two mobiles out of battery.

One headache.
